Unheard voices of introverts.

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re an introvert and the topic excited you. Well ,hello fellow mate,I hope you are going to enjoy the collection of stories I have cooked up for you.If you’re an extroverted person ..good here’s a sneak peek into an introverts mind. An introvert myself ,I have a lot of time on my hands mostly because I enjoy alone time😁🤭.

Loner, I would say but the word portrays solitude in a negative light. I am not lonely per say, I just enjoy spending an excessive amount of time alone.Strangely enough I prefer alone time to interacting with fellow humans. This probably sounds twisted if you’re an extrovert reading. Well let me try to explain this to you. you know how extroverts like going out, taking risks, going on fun adventure filled trips? Yea..introverts also have a range of activities they also enjoy. These however are not as “fun” and adrenaline filled like the ones mentioned above.

Speaking for myself , staying in seems a great idea than going out with friends. I would rather stay home and chill instead. Bake muffins and have coffee, watch a movie, eat chocolate and shuffle my playlist , read a book or binge watch some documentaries. It’s a bonus fun fest if I totally alone, house to myself🥺🤭.The music would be as loud ,with me dancing like Ciara on stage.
The point I’m trying to put across is because I am always at home I have a lot of time on my hands. The real reason I penned down the introvert diaries stories has little to do with introverts actually.. surprised😂😁well the real reason is my burning passion for mental health. weird right, lol let me break it down, a healthy person is a human who is fit physically, emotionally and mentally ( according to me😂😉) .Quite passionate about the subject I feel like emphasis is on how toned your abs are,the great skin and healthy hair but we neglect our brains well-being. So I felt like I needed to make people more aware of these issues, how now🤯.

I racked my brain for months trying to come up with ways of doing this. Public speaking I thought.. But for obvious ( introversion) reasons I would not be able to speak with such vigour as I would want to. I struggle with a simple tutorial presentation so nahh public speaking would not work. Social media🙂..I tried Facebook and instagram but I don’t have many followers😅😔🙁so that was cancelled too. Last year I tried writing an article, on depression ,seemed like a fair idea. Only problem my topic was too broad and the article had too a many ideas in one.A friend helped me fix this and break it down ,but halfway through I stopped. I realized that the article is a scholarly paper which would only reach a certain group. The learned people, who most probably know these issues. My dream is to sensitise that young 16 year old boy, that 45 year old vendor and you obviously. An article would not reach those people so I had to think of something else. One day I was sitting at home when I decided, what I’d I write really interesting stories, that people can relate to .That way I would reach as many people ,from all walks of life too.All the stories have a hint of emotional or mental disturbances .I did this as a way of raising awareness and advocate for mental health services. Below are. The few stories I started with,as you read remember at the back of your mind that ” its all about mental health ” …enjoy😊😇

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
